The Healthy Workplace Bill's history in Vermont ...
In 2007, Vermont became the 13th state in the U.S. to introduce the Healthy Workplace Bill. The first state bill was H 548. sponsored by former Rep. Leo Valliere. In 2008 Sen. Ann Cummings introduced the companion bill S 312. In 2009 Sen. Cummings introduced a new version of the HWB as S 87.
